Gabrielle A. Hemmings

Associate Attorney

Gabrielle A. Hemmings is a dedicated and compassionate advocate, and she strives to zealously represent clients during the most difficult times in their lives. She believes that the foundation of every attorney-client relationship must be built on straightforward communication and honesty in order to achieve her clients’ goals.  Mrs. Hemmings uses a focused and creative approach when representing clients who are dealing with complex family law disputes. She understands that every case has unique facts, which requires a thoughtful and measured approach.

Mrs. Hemmings grew up in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007 with a degree in Government. After graduation, she worked in the legal field as a Litigation Assistant and Certified Paralegal, where she gained experience helping clients navigate complex family law matters. During this time, she solidified her desire to practice law and eventually obtained her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2018. While attending law school, Mrs. Hemmings participated in an externship with Honorable Margaret Ann Brennan in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. She also volunteered at the Richard J. Daley Center, by assisting indigent litigants to prepare pleadings for a wide variety of legal claims.

Ms. Hemmings has experience handling complex divorces, high-conflict custody disputes, protective orders, enforcements, and family law appeals and has represented clients in Dallas, Collin, Denton, Tarrant, Grayson, and Rockwall Counties. She is currently an active member of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar, the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Dallas Bar, the Collin County Bar Association, the Family Section of the Collin County Bar Association, and the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Collin County Bar.  Gabrielle was named as a Rising Star in the field of Family Law by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2023.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their two cats (Chazz and Stella). She also loves attending live music events, baking, and traveling.
