Emily M. Teel

Associate Attorney

Emily Teel is a dedicated family law attorney who joins The Draper Law Firm with a strong foundation in advocacy and a passion for guiding clients through life’s most challenging transitions.

Emily earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth. In law school, she served as Vice President of the Board of Advocates worked as a student attorney in the Texas A&M Family and Veterans Advocacy Clinic, where she gained hands-on courtroom and client experience in family law matters. That experience solidified her decision to pursue a career in family law. She enjoys the opportunity to make a personal and direct impact on the lives of her clients by providing advice, guidance, and support through divorce, child custody, and other family law matters.

Before joining the Draper Firm, Emily handled family law cases in both firms that prioritized amicable collaborative settlement and those that focused on courtroom advocacy. Emily understands when each approach serves a client best and works to resolve matters efficiently while remaining prepared to appear in court when necessary.

When Ms. Teel is not working, she cherishes time with her family, enjoys cooking and loves a good book.
