Lorena Otero is a dedicated and bilingual Associate Attorney at The Draper Law Firm, where she brings her experience and passion for family law to her clients.

Lorena’s journey began in the charming small town of Greenville, Texas, located just east of Dallas. She excelled academically, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a triple major in English, Paralegal Studies, and Political Science. Her academic prowess and dedication to her studies set a strong foundation for her future legal career.

Pursuing her passion for law, Lorena earned her Juris Doctorate from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2022. During her time at SMU, she was actively involved in the VanSickle Family Law Clinic, where she served as Chief Counsel on several family law cases. This hands-on experience allowed her to hone her skills and make a meaningful impact on the lives of her clients.

Before joining The Draper Law Firm, Lorena gained valuable experience at a law firm in Greenville. There, she adeptly handled a variety of family law matters, including divorces, child custody issues, protective orders, and adoptions. Her compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to her clients’ well-being have earned her a reputation as a trusted and effective advocate.

Outside of her professional life, Lorena cherishes spending quality time with her friends and family. She is especially devoted to her pet, Theordore the Yorkie.
